Innovating Patient Outcomes: RegenMed Collaborates with UW-Madison Data Science Capstone Teams
The University of Wisconsin/Madison enjoys a strong global reputation for medical discovery as well as computer science – a powerful match for RegenMed’s value propositions. We were therefore honored this past summer to be invited to join GE Healthcare, Google, Qualcomm (among others) in designing and supporting Capstone projects undertaken by graduating data science engineers.

This past semester’s impressive work by two separate Capstone teams was presented on December 1. Both projects – comprising polished front-end and back-end coding – will meaningfully strengthen patient outcomes survey completion on our patented Benchmarc™ platform. They will also increase patients’ visibility into their clinical progress on an individual and cohort basis.

Next semester’s Capstone teams will build on this foundation, as we evolve Benchmarc™ into a best-in-class patient-facing platform (i) incentivizing them to provide their key clinical outcomes data, (ii) enabling them to see the impact it makes on their care as well as patients like them, and (iii) provides concrete benefits for their important contributions in advancing evidence-based standards of care.
